Molly Lamb Bobak Biography
 
   
 
Molly Lamb Bobak was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 25, 1920, daughter of Harold Mortimer Lamb and Alice Mary Price.

Joined Canadian Women's Army Corps (C.W.A.C.) in 1942, became lieutenant. Appointed Official War Artist with the Canadian Army in Europe, 1945-46.

Married Bruno Bobak in 1945. Two children, Alexander and Anny.

Instructor in painting at Vancouver School of Art, 1947-50.

Taught at University of British Columbia Extension and Summer Schools,1958-59.

Instructor, University of New Brunswick Art Centre from 1960 through to recent years.

Has also taught at Banff School of Art, Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre, Inc. and the Alberta College of Art in recent years.
