Why sell to Klinkhoff
Experience For over 60 years Galerie Walter Klinkhoff has specialized in the purchase, sale and appraisal of Canadian art, including works by Molly Lamb Bobak, Paul-Émile Borduas, Emily Carr, Maurice Cullen, Marc-Aurèle Fortin, Clarence Gagnon, Lawren Harris, Prudence Heward, Edwin Holgate, A.Y. Jackson, Cornelius Krieghoff, Arthur Lismer, John Little, John Lyman, David Milne, Kathleen Morris, Robert Pilot, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Albert H. Robinson, Anne Savage, Marc-Aurèle Suzor-Coté, Tom Thomson, and other historical Canadian and contemporary artists. As a fixed price Gallery providing internationally recognized expertise, we regularly offer fine art sellers guaranteed financial results, certainty, confidentiality and peace of mind in a personalized setting. Our extensive network of leading collectors makes us the optimum venue to sell your important Canadian art. Consult with us also for the sale of works by important European artists.
For the reasons of price, efficiency, assurance and confidentiality, selling your Canadian fine art or international fine art to or through the Walter Klinkhoff Gallery is your most advantageous selling option. Our family business represents well over 100 years of collective experience gained from the aggressive, daily buying and selling of fine art.
Private Treaty Sales: The Fixed-Price Advantage In our opinion, sale by private treaty and at a "fixed price" is your most advantageous selling option. A study of a survey of Canadian and international fine art auction results and independent reviews for the sales in the autumn of 2008 and spring of 2009 will show evidence of record numbers of unsold lots, works which then become tarnished for resale in the short and medium term.
Top Market Prices Galerie Walter Klinkhoff will net you top market prices for your important works of art. Our unique experience and longevity in the art market provides us with considerable selling expertise. For over 50 years we have developed an important network of relationships among Canada's most important collectors for whom we act as advisors. We invite you to sell your works to us or with us at top market prices, either C.O.D. with immediate payment or on a consignment basis in our "fixed price" Gallery.
Should you prefer to sell Canadian art with us on a consignment basis, most fine works will be sold and settled efficiently, likely within 30 days of their delivery to the Gallery. In many circumstances the Galerie Walter Klinkhoff will "guarantee" the agreed price net to the owner. For many of the finest works, we assure their sale often well within 90 days of receiving them for sale, or we will purchase them ourselves at the agreed price.
Confidentiality Selling with us means that your confidentiality is assured. For the security of the seller we maintain your anonymity.
